Kawakami Tosoh Kobo was founded in 1990 in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, a "city of blades" with 700 years of history.

Using our unique urethane coating technology, which has been adopted for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Osaka Expo 2025, and Kabuki stage props, each item is hand-painted one by one.

The exquisite luster and color, resistant to scratches and requiring no special maintenance, elevate tools into "one-of-a-kind art."
