A special Japanese art petty knife crafted by Atelier Kawakami, specialists in custom scabbard (saya) painting, featuring a premium blade forged in Seki City—one of the world's three great cutlery capitals.
■ ORIGINAL TECHNIQUE "GEN" — A MAGNIFICENT STONE-TEXTURED JET BLACK SAYA Coated in a heavy, matte "stone-grain texture" reminiscent of polished ore, the scabbard (saya) is finished using our proprietary painting technique. This unique finish provides a scratch-resistant, tactile grip alongside an overwhelming, dignified presence.
■ SEKI CRAFTSMANSHIP WITH ONE-OF-A-KIND ELEGANCE In contrast to the matte scabbard, the handle shines softly in sleek gloss black, accented by a striking gold tip. Paired with a 120mm hammered (tsuchime) blade crafted in Seki City—renowned worldwide for its cutlery heritage—this compact petty knife radiates quiet authority and elegance like a fine art sword.
