A special Japanese art sword crafted by Atelier Kawakami, specialists in custom scabbard (saya) painting.

■ Interlocking Jet Black and Textured Gold — A Magnificent Split-Color Scabbard

Designed with a bold transition from deep jet black to our unique, heavily textured gold. The three-dimensional texture created by deliberately applying high-viscosity paint reflects light in complex, dazzling ways. "Kou" (Splendor) is an exclusive masterwork available directly from our studio, wrapping the entire scabbard in majesty and imposing presence.

■ One-of-a-Kind Elegance with No Two Alike

Created through meticulous hand-painting, no two pieces ever produce the same tactile texture or boundary line between black and gold.

The black section of the scabbard features our signature cherry blossom (sakura) engraving. The handle (tsuka) and sageo cord are wrapped in elegant golden-brown to accentuate the gold design. The blade displays a gracefully undulating Notare hamon pattern, creating a magnificent and dignified accent for any display space.
