A special Japanese Art Sword created by "Akari by Atelier Kawakami," a studio specializing in scabbard lacquering.

■ A Brilliant Design Where Deep Black Meets Textured Gold — Boldly Dual-Toned Scabbard
This sword features a bold transition from deep jet-black to a heavy, textured gold. Using a special rough-coating technique with high-viscosity paint, the three-dimensional texture reflects light in rich, complex ways. Radiating majesty and an overwhelming presence, "Kou" is a magnificent original piece available exclusively from our studio.

■ A One-of-a-Kind Masterpiece with Elegant Presence
Crafted by hand using specialized techniques by skilled artisans, no two pieces are exactly alike. The scabbard features an engraved cherry blossom (sakura), the signature symbol of our brand. The handle (tsuka) combines traditional white ray skin with warm golden-brown cord wrapping and a matching sageo cord. The blade features a beautifully rhythmic "Gunome" (undulating wave) pattern, perfectly harmonizing with the scabbard's radiant brilliance.

■ Scabbard Crafted from Traditional Natural Wood: "Magnolia (Honoki)"
The scabbard is made of natural Japanese magnolia wood (honoki), a material used for Japanese sword fittings since ancient times. Magnolia is lightweight and naturally regulates humidity, making it the ideal material to gently protect the blade from rust and scratches.
