Wishes carried on endless ocean waves. "Seigaiha," an artistic Japanese knife blending traditional patterns with master craftsmanship.

A special creation combining an authentic Japanese Santoku knife forged by master artisans in Seki City with custom artistic painting by Akari by Atelier Kawakami.
This design features "Seigaiha," an iconic traditional Japanese wave pattern, seamlessly emerging from a deep, textured black finish. Its serene, ocean-like beauty brings unmatched elegance and sophistication to your daily kitchen work.

It strikes a perfect balance between artistic beauty and effortless daily maintenance for everyday home cooking.

[5 Key Features of Seigaiha]
1. Tranquil "Seigaiha" Pattern in Jet-Black Gradient
The handle and matching Saya (sheath) are coated with a custom finish transitioning from a textured matte black to a lustrous jet black. The "Seigaiha" (wave) motif adorning the sheath is a timeless Japanese lucky pattern symbolizing continuous peace and prosperity, much like gentle, endless ocean waves. Accented with an engraved gold cherry blossom emblem, this knife exudes quiet luxury.

2. Mirror-Polished Hammered Finish (Tsuchime)
The blade features a brilliant mirror-polished hammered texture. Beyond its glittering visual appeal, the subtle indentations reduce friction and keep ingredients like meat and vegetables from sticking to the blade, allowing smooth and efficient cutting.

3. Rust-Resistant & Easy Daily Maintenance
Crafted from high-grade stainless steel (SUS420J2), this blade offers excellent corrosion and wear resistance. Unlike traditional carbon steel knives, you don't need to worry about rust. Simply wash and wipe dry after use for hassle-free everyday cooking.

4. Water-Resistant "Plywood Handle x PC Ferrule"
The core handle is made of water-resistant laminated wood, while the ferrule (junction ring) uses durable PC material to prevent moisture from penetrating inside. Highly hygienic and durable for long-lasting performance.

5. Magnolia Wood Saya (Sheath) Protecting the Blade
Includes a sheath crafted from traditional Magnolia wood (Ho-no-ki), long used for Japanese sword sheaths. Extremely lightweight and gentle on the blade, magnolia wood naturally breathes to release moisture, protecting the blade from rust. Perfect for safe and stylish transport to outdoor camping or glamping.
